בתום חקירה סמויה של מפלג פרוטקשן צפון בלהב 433 יחד עם ימ"ר "ארז" של מג"ב צפון, המשמר הלאומי הצפוני של מג״ב ושוטרי מחוז צפון, פשטו הכוחות על בתיהם ועסקיהם של ארבעה חשודים מאזור הצפון ומדרום הארץ.

הארבעה (בשנות ה-30 וה-40) חשודים בגביית דמי חסות וסחיטה באיומים ממועצה מקומית בצפון וממתקני טיהור שפכים, המהווים משאבים לאומיים, ובנוסף חשודים בעבירות של הלבנת הון ועבירות על פקודת המיסים.

במהלך הפשיטה נתפסו רכבי יוקרה, צ'קים, חותמות, חשבוניות ושעוני רולקס בשווי 300,000 שקלים.

The Fight Against Protection Rackets: Four suspects arrested for extorting protection money from a local council in the north and from wastewater treatment facilities

At the conclusion of a covert investigation by the Northern Protection Racket Division in Lahav 433, together with the "Erez" Central Investigative Unit (Yamar) of the Northern Border Police, the Northern National Guard of the Border Police, and officers of the Northern District, forces raided the homes and businesses of four suspects from the northern and southern regions of the country.
